EXCLUSIVE: Mannara Chopra’s sister Mitali Handa reacts to comparison with cousins Priyanka Chopra-Parineeti Chopra: Andar meri sisters ka naam kyun le rahe ho?

Mannara Chopra is one of the most talked-about contestants of the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 17. The actress’ journey in the Bigg Boss house has been full of ups and downs. There have been times when the fellow housemates including Abhishek Kumar have mentioned Mannara’s cousins Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, leaving her upset. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mannara’s sister Mitali Handa spoke about Mannara Chopra being compared to cousins Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra.

Mitali talks about sister Mannara Chopra, Priyanka-Parineeti

She said, “Woh bothered nahi thi. Woh bohot pehle hi Abhishek ne trigger kiya tha, starting mein hi. So, the thing is, ek banda naya naya aata hai uss platform pe jaha bahar ki baat nahi ki jayegi, aur kahi na kahi ye bahar ki baat hai. It doesn’t matter aap kon ho aur kaha se aaye ho. You should respect the platform you are at. (She was not bothered. Abhishek had triggered her in the beginning. So, the thing is, a new person comes on the platform where you can’t talk about outside things, and somewhere this is about the putside world. It doesn’t matter where you’ve come from. You should respect the platform you are at).”

Mithali added, “Agar aaj mein bhi 24 ghante ke liye ghar ke andar gayi hu, meri khudki sister ne hi agar mere se kuch baat kari hai, toh maine ek-do baar bola hai ki yeh chod, yeh bahar ki baat hai. Toh aap ek platform ki bhi toh respect karoge na? (If today I went inside the house for 24 hours, and my sister is talking about things related to the outside world, I told her to leave it. So, you respect the platform).”

She added, “Agar woh bahar ki baat hai toh bahar ki hai. Toh woh choice hai. Aur woh keh rahi hai ki aap mereko ghar ke andar sirf Mannara ki tarah pehchante ho, aap usi pe baat karo. Toh usko woh cheez bother kari thi. (If its about the outside world, then it is. So, it’s a choice. And when she’s telling you know that inside the house you known me as Mannara, then you talk about that. So, that was the thing that was bothering her).”

Mitali further added that her sister respects the platform and Bigg Boss. She went on to add, “She (Mannara was right in her way. Ki aap meri baat karo, mein ghar ke andar baithi hu. Bhara joh baithe hai mere sisters unka kyu naam le rahe ho. (You talk about me, I’m there inside the house. The people who are outside are my sisters and why are you taking their names?). She was not bothered. We are sisters and everybody knows that.”
