Naveen Kasturia On Actors Getting Insecure By Influencers
When asked if actors ever feel insecure about influencers entering acting, Naveen Kasturia said, “Kya hai yaar craft aur trained actors? Bohot saare log hindi filmon mein jo kaam kar rahe hai woh brands hai, kisi ke bacche hote hai. Actors toh woh bhi nhi hai, they are brands right? Yeh toh fir bhi actors hai, aur actors, acting se brands banne hai kai log, not everybody. Toh nahi aise insecurity toh nahi aati hai.”
Naveen Kasturia On Stars Becoming Brands, Not Actors
He further got candid about stars today becoming brands rather than actors. The Pitchers fame said, “Yeh bhi toh system ki weakness haina yaar. Kyu, system kuch kamzor hai tabhi bohot ache actors bohot kaam nahi kar rahe honge, jyada tar brands ka kaam kar rahe honge. Jab ki, jab aap ache actors ko leke brands banaoge, acha kaam deliver karke, jaise TVF ki shuruaat thi daur mein toh kabhi unhone stars liye hi nahi. Naye naye logon ke sath kaam kiya aur woh brands ban gaye. Toh matlab yeh possible toh hai. Jaisa aapne kahana aur content mein invest karo, uske liye toh jo banane wale hai usme bhi samjh honi chahiye. Woh bhi abh nahi hota hai kyunki paise wala aadmi jo aaraha hai aur woh paisa kamaane ke liye hi aa raha hai, toh woh kitne creatively smart hoga woh.”
Naveen was recently seen in the web series Salakaar.
