EXCLUSIVE: Ranvir Shorey Calls Kanneda Co-Star Parmish Verma A ‘Multitalented Guy’; Says, “He’s Sharp, Intelligent And Quite On Top Of His Game”

Ranvir Shorey Praises Kanneda Co-Star Parmish Verma

Ranvir, who plays the role of Ranjit Bajwa, shares his elevating experience of working with Parmish Verma while giving insight into how deeply he connects with his character and is personally relevant to him.

Highlighting on his strong equation with Parmish Verma, Ranvir Shorey said, “This is the first time I am working with Parmish, he is a very multitalented guy. He is very clear headed, sharp and intelligent and  quite on top of his game. The soundtrack that he has created for Kanneda is amazing and his performance as a lead actor absolutely sold us the whole show. I only had a few scenes with him but enjoyed working with him.”

Talking about how he blends with Ranjit Bajwa, Shorey expressed, “Coming from a Punjabi background myself, I have family members who have migrated to Canada, US and UK as well. So, I have a certain familiarity with this world and here it was a chance to explore that with all its bright and dark facets.”

Ranvir Shorey embodies the spirit of Ranjit and feels there is a sense of familiarity with his character strengthening the bond of Ranjit deeper with Ranvir  This connection not only elevates Ranjit’s on-screen presence but also highlights how the series sets apart from other shows.
