This Friendship Day, Sana Makbul reflects not on grand gestures or glitzy outings, but on the quiet, handmade memories of her childhood simple acts of care, shared secrets, and laughter. It’s those small, heartfelt moments, she says, that truly define friendship and stay with you long after the years pass.
Sana Makbul Shares Her Idea Of Friendship Day
On the occasion of Friendship Day, Sana exclusively shared with Bollywood Bubble, “One of my most unforgettable memories is stitching doll clothes with my girlfriends. That bachpan ki creativity still lives in me it even shows up in my fashion today. Those moments were innocent but so special.”
Over the years, life and fame may have shifted her surroundings, but her idea of friendship has only become deeper. “I had a guy friend back in school he felt like family. Today, there’s this one friend, a woman, who’s stood by me through everything. She doesn’t judge, she listens, she cries with me. She’s my sister from another mother. I don’t make friends easily, but when I do, they last for decades.”
It’s no surprise that Friends is her dream on-screen bond. “That bunch I’d love to live that kind of friendship in real life. Chaos, comfort, and constant support.”
When asked about gestures that mean the most, Sana instantly leans into nostalgia, “Friendship bands! We used to make our own. I love handwritten notes and little things made by hand. They carry real emotion.”
If her life had a “friendship” chapter, she’d title it Nibhana. “Because true friendship isn’t overnight it takes time, effort, and showing up again and again. If it ends easily, maybe it was never real.”
As she says it, you know she means every word and that’s the kind of friendship worth celebrating.
