EXCLUSIVE: Shahid Kapoor discusses potential crossover between Kabir Singh and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal Park

Shahid Kapoor’s career got a new lease of life with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Kabir Singh. The filmmaker broke his record with his second Bollywood outing Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. While makers have already started working on Animal Park, fans are expecting crossover with Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh with Ranbir Kapoor’s film. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, the actor spilled the beans about the possible crossover.

Talking about the possibility of a crossover of the two films, the actor shared, “Certain things are very exciting for the audience. But the ball is not in my court and it’s not easy because I think the universes are quite different. If something like that happens it would be great, but is it practically possible?  Is it doable? Who will write it? When will it happen? There are so many practical things that happen.

He further continued, “For example everyone is asking me about the second season of Farzi. It’s very difficult to explain to them that the directors are working on two other shows, once they get finish that they will come back to this. And the audience reaction is like, ‘They have not starting writing yet, are they stupid? Immediately they should make as everyone wants to watch.’ And I am like you think it was that simple but it’s not. But it’s a great thought and if audience gets excited by that then I am happy.”

TBMAUJ is all set to hit the theatres on 9^th February. Post this, Shahid will gear up for his upcoming thriller Deva alongside Pooja Hegde. He will be seen as cop in the flick.
