Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 is all set to tickle funny bones once again, this time with a refreshing twist. The much-loved comedy returns with a spooky supernatural flavour, unfolding in the mysterious town of Ghunghatganj. In an exclusive conversation, the actors opened up about work hours, set pressure, and the ongoing debate around long working shifts in the TV industry. From calling out misconceptions to highlighting the need for clear timelines and stronger associations, the cast shared candid insights from their own experience. Read on to know more.

Talking About Long Working Hours Of TV Actors

Rohitash Gour, who plays Manmohan Tiwari on the show, says, “Hume koi zyada kaam nahi karna padta, humare toh balki 12 ghante ki shift mein 8-9 ghante kaam hota hai aur bohot araam se kaam hota hai humara, humlog us tarah se stressfull atmosphere mein nahi rehte.”

Vidisha Shrivastava, who plays Anita Bhabi on the show, added, “I guess har production house pe depend karta hai hum apne show ki baat kar sakte hai ki humare uppar aisa pressure nahi rehta hai. But I’m sure koi aur show hoga ya toh movie ki baat kar rahe hai agar toh unka apna ek time hai alag tareeka hai, agar extra work kara rahe hai bohot toh mai samajh sakti hu, hum abhi apne show ki baat kare toh humare upaar koi aisa pressure nahi hai’

Shilpa Shinde added, “Mera wahi kehna hai ki jab kaam nahi hota hai tab har artist ‘haan’ bolta hai aur jab pressure aata hai toh fir bolte ho ki humse 14-15 ghante kaam karwaya jaa raha hai. Toh aap pehle se hi mauka mat do na, aap pehle se hi apna ye rakho time, agar aap hi nahi karoge toh karwayenge hi. Aap hi mauka de rahe ho ki aao humarai band bajao, jab kaam nahi hai toh fir baad me aap bolte ho toh ye galat hai, wahi industry ke baare me keh rahi hu, fir kisi ek ko toh mafiya banna hi padega aur fir woh control karna hi padega. Toh woh sabhi log usme piss jaate ha, time toh time line toh honi chahiye.”

Shilpa Shinde Opens Up About CINTAA

Rohitash added, “Association ke taraf se strictly is cheez ko follow karne ka nirdesh hona chahiye.” To which Shilpa replied, “Lekin wo nahi hota hai, CINTAA jo hai artists association, wo artist ko hi ban karne ki baat karti hai, toh I mean artist ko hi artist ke side nahi le jaa rahi hai, toh fir matlab hi kya hai aise associations ka, agar aaj bhi artist 12-14 ghanta kaam kar rahe hai toh artists assosiation hai kidhar. Toh ye rules har ek ko follow karne chahiye.”

The candid conversation highlights that while Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 enjoys a relatively balanced, comfortable work environment, the broader issue of work hours and accountability in the TV industry remains unresolved. With voices like Shilpa Shinde, Rohitash Gour, and Vidisha Shrivastava speaking openly, the discussion once again brings attention to the need for clearer timelines, mutual responsibility, and stronger support systems for artistes across the industry.
