The year is finally coming to an end! Before we get to watch full-length films, it’s always the movie trailers that grasp our attention. The makers of Bollywood films, over time, have given us some of the greatest movie trailers. While some have broken records by becoming the most-watched, it’s a well-known fact that not every movie turns out to be as good as its trailer. 1. 83 (78 million)

83 is directed by Kabir Khan. It is based on the India national cricket team led by Kapil Dev, which won the 1983 Cricket World Cup. It stars Ranveer Singh as Dev and Padukone as Romi Bhatia, Dev’s wife, featuring an ensemble cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree.

2. Atrangi Re (71 million)

Atrangi Re is directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film stars Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar in leading roles. The film is about Rinku (Sara), a serial eloper, who is in love with an imaginary man named Sajjad (Kumar) and is forced to marry another man named Vishu (Dhanush)

3. Jersey (62 million)

Jersey is a sports drama film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. It stars Shahid Kapoor as a former cricketer who returns to the game for the sake of his son, alongside Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur.

4. RRR (59 million)

RRR is a period action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad.

5. Shershaah (57 million)

Shershaah follows the life of Param Vir Chakra-awardee Captain Vikram Batra. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra and Kiara Advani as his girlfriend Dimple Cheema.

6. Bell Bottom (51 million)

Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. It stars Akshay Kumar as the lead character, with Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in an extended cameo appearance and is inspired by real-life hijacking events in India by Khalistani separatists during the 1980s.

7. Toofan (43 million)

Toofaan is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and starring Farhan Akhtar as a national-level boxer, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles.
