Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Mahesh Babu’s team reacts to rumours of the first look dropping on May 31

Rumour mill was abuzz that the first-look poster of the Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata would release on May 31. Mahesh Babu’s fans were super excited to see him in his new character but the South superstars’ team has reacted to the rumours and cleared the air. Mahesh Babu’s team issued a statement saying that there will not be any kind of announcement on the movie front given the current situation of the pandemic.

Since May 31 marks Superstar Krishna’s birthday, there were rumours that the first look of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be unveiled on this day. Fans were even trending multiple hashtags on Twitter ahead of the poster release but looks like they will have to just wait a little longer.

The statement read, “In view of the current circumstances, for each one of us personally and the society at large, the makers of #SarkaruVaariPaata believe it’s not a right time to give out any updates regarding the film. Request you to not spread any unofficial and falseful news regarding this. All official updates will be posted first on our official accounts. Till then – stay safe and take care (sic).”

Back in mid-April, the makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata had begun to film the movie’s second schedule which was in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh had been part of that shoot but after a few days, the shoot came to a halt. It is said that some of the crew members had tested positive for coronavirus. Directed by Parasuram, Sarkaru Vaari Paata features Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
