Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ won hearts with a relevant screenplay and good performances. And the love is showing in its box office figures.
After its first weekend, the film had minted Rs 72.25 crore. Now after its second Friday, it has added another Rs 4 crore in his kitty. With this, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ stands with a collection of Rs 76.25 crore.
Delhi and cities in UP are witnessing the strongest business. What further worked to the film’s advantage was that it was a solo release. Further, both this week’s releases namely ‘Machine’ and ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ turned out to be duds. Therefore, no major competitor!
