Salman Khan painting

It’s a known fact that Salman Khan has a heart of gold. He has always been active when it comes to charity and working for a noble cause. His organisation ‘Being Human’ has also acquired quite a good name for the work it does to support the underprivileged. Following this, we have now learnt that Salman Khan is all set to auction his paintings in order to raise money for charity.

Salman is a fabulous painter and has created quite a few masterpieces through his art, but never has he thought of selling these pieces. He either keeps them with him or gifts it to his friends. But a recent incident led him to change his mind.

Apparently, a businessman recently offered Salman a whopping amount of Rs 20 lakh for a painting of a mother and son he had created. But Salman rejected this offer and rather demanded for Rs 1 crore for the same. Surprisingly, the businessman was willing to buy this painting for Rs 1 crore and the deal was sealed. This amount then went to Salman’s foundation ‘Being Human’ and this is how the idea of selling his paintings and raising money for charity came up.

A source informed a leading tabloid, “Salman’s paintings are all about the emotions of life. They are focussed on love, family ties and the oneness of religion, which are all feelings that resonate with the actor. They are extremely personal and he does not paint for money or fame; he does it for the joy and peace it brings him. His family and friends are always gifting him canvases, paints and brushes, but Salman insists that his best works are on life-sized frames with hands. Those will be the paintings up for purchase too.”

More power to you Salman! Nothing can get better than this.
