EXCLUSIVE: Sai Pallavi or Lavanya Tripathi? Varun Tej reveals who he has better chemistry with

Varun Tej is one of the most popular actors in the Telugu film industry. Over the years, he has appeared in films like Loafer, Gandeevadhari Arjuna, Tholi Prema, Fidaa and more. The Sekhar Kammula directorial Fidaa starring Varun and Sai Pallavi was released in 2017. Even years after the release of Fidaa, fans can’t stop talking about Varun and Sai Pallavi’s sizzling chemistry in the film. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Varun opened up about what makes his chemistry with Sai Pallavi a hit.

Varun Tej talks about Sai Pallavi

Varun said, “Chemistry is not something that develops on set or between two actors. It’s what is on the paper. When people started asking this question to me and Sai Pallavi, we were like we are really good friends but the thing is you don’t really need to have a chemistry off-screen to bring up something on-screen. It’s about what is on paper. If you are able to replicate it. Obviously it’s important that you put your act straight and emote right for what is given to you.”

The actor added, “I think it’s very important that you have another actor who can respond and reciprocate the same when you’re shooting. She’s a phenomenal actress and that really helped out. And I think that’s the reason Fidaa is what it is.”

When asked who he thinks looks better with onscreen – Lavanya Tripathi or Sai Pallavi, Varun responded saying, “I obviously look good with my wife (laughs).” Varun and Lavanya have worked together in two movies – Mister and Antariksham 9000KMPH. They tied the knot in Italy last year.

During the candid conversation, Varun Tej also shared how supportive his wife is. He said, “When I shy out doing something romantic onscreen, my wife is the one who pushes me to do it. She said you’re an actor. You don’t think about me being at home or nothing should stop you from exploring what your job is. It’s ok go try that out.”

On the other hand, Varun is set to foray into Bollywood with his aerial actioner Operation Valentine. The Shakti Pratap Singh which also stars Manushi Chhillar is slated to be released on 1^st March, 2024.
