Bigg Boss 19: Gauahar Khan SLAMS Kunickaa Sadanand For Dragging Tanya Mittal’s Mother Into Argument; Says, “Double Standards Much”

Kunickaa Sadanand attempted to divert Tanya Mittal during the counting task in Bigg Boss 19 by making personal digs, drawing criticism from many social media users. Recently, Gauahar Khan, who has been catching up on the show after welcoming her second child, expressed her disapproval of Kunickaa’s behaviour. She called out Kunickaa for dragging Tanya Mittal’s mother into the nomination task, highlighting her shock at what she described as Kunickaa’s double standard.

During Monday’s episode, tensions escalated between Tanya and Kunickaa during the task, which involved counting for 19 minutes in ‘jodis’. Housemates had to perform the task while others attempted to distract them. Kunickaa tried to throw Tanya off by making personal comments, even involving her mother and her background. Tanya was visibly upset and broke down in tears after these comments. Actor Gaurav Khanna stepped in to soothe Tanya and criticised Kunickaa for crossing the line.

On Tuesday, Gauahar took to X (formerly Twitter) to condemn Kunickaa for mentioning Tanya’s mother during the task, which caused Tanya to break down. “Khud ke maa hone ki duhai dena, bahar ki baat mat karo n all that, n to actually state things on someone else’s mother so easily, is shocking,” Gauahar wrote, emphasising the inappropriate nature of Kunickaa’s comments.

Gauahar, who won Bigg Boss Season 7 in 2013, further added, “Double standards much!!! #bb19 Hope being 61 still makes u eligible for criticism. Woh expect karo jo aap offer kar sakte hain warna na karo (expect what you can offer, otherwise don’t do it).”
