Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav Khanna Reveals He Wants Kids But Wife Akanksha Still Doesn’t; Says, “Love Marriage Hai, Joh Woh Bolegi Karna Padega”

One of the most-anticipated and much-loved reality shows, Bigg Boss 19 premiered on Colors and JioHotstar on Sunday, August 24. Among the 15 contestants currently part of the controversial reality show being hosted by Salman Khan, is Anupamaa actor Gaurav Khanna. During a recent episode, the actor got candid about his personal life and expressed his desire of wanting a child, but his wife of nearly 9 years, actress Akanksha Chamola, not being ready for it yet. Gaurav Khanna On Wanting Kids But His Wife Akanksha Chamola Not Wanting Them

During the recent episode, Mridul Tiwari asked Gaurav Khanna about fatherhood. Answering the content creator, the ‘Anupamaa’ actor stated that he and his wife, Akanksha Chamola, will celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary his November. He then added, “Unko chahiye hi nahi. Mujhko chahiye, but love marriage hai toh jo woh bolegi toh mujhe karna padega. Pyar kiya toh nibhana toh padega. Unki apni soch bhi sahi hai (She doesn’t want kids. I want children, but it’s a love marriage. I will have to do whatever she says. If you’ve fallen in love, you must see it through. She has her own thought process).”

Gaurav further added, “Responsibility hoti hai bahut. Aur hum log sirf do hai. Main har waqt kaam karta hoon aur kal ko unko kaam mil gaya toh bacchon ko akela nahi chodna. Mere ko chahiye tha, but usne mujhe yeh baat samjhayi. Dekhenege aage, but never say never (There are a lot of responsibilities. And it’s only two of us for each other. If I go for work and she also gets work, who will keep the kids? I had told her that I want, but I understood when she explained).”

Gaurav-Akanksha’s Relationship

In early 2016, reports surfaced that Gaurav Khanna was dating television actress Akanksha Chamola. The couple tied the knot in the same year on November 24 in Khanna’s hometown of Kanpur. The actors regularly share pictures and videos together on social media and are much loved by fans.

While Gaurav is know for shows such as Anupamaa, Savdhaan India, and Mauka-E-Vardaat, Akanksha has been part of shows like Swaragini, Bhootu, and Can You See Me.
