Actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her husband Shanawaz Shaikh have shared the first clear pictures of their baby boy, Joy, during his Annaprashan ceremony. This special ritual marks the baby’s first time eating solid food. Devoleena posted the adorable photos on Instagram, saying the day was full of gratitude and love.

In her caption, she wrote, “With folded hands and hearts full of gratitude, we celebrated our beloved son’s Annaprashan, Joy’s first sacred taste of Anna (rice).” She added, “May Maa Annapurna bless him with health, wisdom, and a life full of abundance. A beautiful milestone, a memory for a lifetime.”

Baby Joy looked cute in a traditional Bengali dhoti and kurta, while Devoleena wore a lovely saree. The ceremony followed Bengali customs and was attended by close family and friends.

Actor Vishal Singh, Devoleena’s co-star from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, was also present. The ceremony took place in Mumbai and was a private celebration filled with joy and blessings.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shanawaz Shaikh got married in December 2022 in a quiet court wedding in Lonavala, attended by close friends. Devoleena and Shanawaz welcomed Joy on December 18, 2024. She had announced the birth with a sweet video on social media, saying, “Hello world! Our little angel BOY is here… 18/12/2024.” Earlier, she had shared news of her pregnancy in August with a post from a panchamrit ritual, ending months of speculation.
