Vibhu had been open about his journey with cancer and often shared updates on his Instagram. In his posts, he remained positive and inspired many by showing courage and strength.
He once wrote that even though his body was unfit, he was proud of it for supporting him during such a tough time. Colon cancer, which Vibhu was battling, begins when small growths called polyps in the large intestine turn into cancer.
His condition worsened in December 2024 when a PET scan showed that the cancer had spread to his lungs, spine, and chest. Despite undergoing chemotherapy in early 2025, the cancer continued to spread.
Vibhu’s brave fight lasted three years. Even during his most difficult moments, he never gave up hope and continued to stay strong. His passing has left his fans and the television industry in deep sorrow. He will always be remembered for his talent, strength, and positive spirit.
