Following the massive buzz on social media for the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, the makers unveiled the much-awaited teaser last evening. JioCinema took to social media and shared a Bigg Boss OTT 3 promo along with details about its premiere. But it seems like the makers also teased fans with a Bigg Boss OTT host.
As per reports doing the rounds, and a close listen to the promos, it seems like Anil Kapoor will be taking over the hosting duties of the controversial digital reality show from Salman Khan. For the unversed, Khan took over the duties of the show’s host from Karan Johar during the second season.
Anil Kapoor to host Bigg Boss OTT 3?
The BB OTT 3 teaser – comprising of standout moments from the previous television and digital seasons, provides a glimpse into what fans can expect from the upcoming season. But that’s not the highlight. The video wraps up with audio of the season’s tagline, “Ye season hoga khass, ek dum jhakaas.” This Bigg Boss OTT 3 teaser voice-over has raised eyebrows as it hints at Anil Kapoor taking over the hosting duties from Salman Khan.

Salman to not host BB OTT 3?
A while ago, Bombay Times reported that Salman Khan was stepping back as the host of the OTT version of the controversial reality show owing to unavailability. The show was earlier expected to stream in May but got delayed and will not air from June. A source told the publication, “The show was supposed to start in May. However, it was pushed to June. Makers tried cajoling the actor into hosting the show. The hunt for a replacement is on.” The source added, “Conversations with Anil Kapoor are ongoing. He was approached by the makers, and it may transpire into something concrete.”
