DNA quoted a source as saying, “Our heroic win in the 1983 World Cup is a historical event in Post-Independence India. Considering that cricket and movies are akin to religion in the country, and are bound to resonate with audiences across ages and strata, the film’s producers have decided to shoot for the Tamil and Telugu versions simultaneously.”
