EXCLUSIVE: Aaliyah Qureishi recalls how Shah Rukh Khan made his Jawan girl gang feel special: He told his bodyguards to stay away when we were around

Aaliyah Qureishi, who played the role of Janhvi in Jawan, is enjoying the success of the film. For the uninitiated, Aaliyah’s character Janhvi worked under SRK’s character Azaad Rathore. She was a part of his girl gang. Well recently, Aaliyah sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and opened up about her co-stars, SRK’s Mannat and a lot more. During the candid conversation, Aaliyah shared an interesting anecdote from the sets of the film. The actress revealed how Shah Rukh Khan made his girl gang feel special on Jawan set.

Aaliyah recalls SRK’s kind gesture

Aaliyah said, “There was never a moment on set where he made us feel like small or anything. He would always lift us with him and always if we were kind of standing in the corner and he was sitting then he would be like get them chairs. So, all six of us would sit around him.” The actress added that he always made all of them feel like a team. “He always made us feel like these are my girls,” said Aaliyah.

Recalling an incident, Aaliyah said, “Once he even told one of his bodyguards, this was in the first schedule, 2nd or 3^rd day we had met him, we were trying to go into the tent for dinner with Atlee sir and Shah Rukh Khan because for the past 3 days we had done that. So, we were trying to go inside and one of the bodyguards stopped us. But then Shah Rukh sir saw and he said when the girls are around, none of you should be around me. He told the bodyguards when the girls are around, none of you should stop them from coming to me. So, imagine how good we felt. It felt really good. It was heartwarming. He’s just the best.”

Jawan also featured Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Eijaz Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone among others. The Atlee directorial released on 7^th September and since then, it has been creating box office records. For the unversed, Jawan has entered the Rs 1000 crore club at the worldwide box office. Given the craze, Jawan is unstoppable.
