Abhishek Bachchan recalls the special career advice Shah Rukh Khan gave him

Abhishek Bachchan is one of the talented actors in Bollywood. The actor has proved his mettle as an artist with various projects. Abhishek starrer Breathe: Into The Shadows season 2 premiered on Prime Video on Wednesday. The actor has delivered a ‘killer’ performance in the web show. Now, in an interview while promoting his show, Abhishek was asked if he is waiting for any ‘special’ role. The actor responded saying, “No! I’m very bad at this, I focus on whatever I’m doing right now, rather than what I can.”

Abhishek then recalled the special career advice Shah Rukh Khan gave him that he highly swears by. The actor shared, “In the very initial years of my career Shah Rukh Khan ji explained this concept to me in the most precise manner. In fact, one day as both of us were having a conversation and I popped out the same question to him stating ‘You’ve done amazing work, which one is your favourite and what all roles would you like to do.’”

The actor went on to add, “Shah Rukh replied, ‘Whatever work and roles I’m doing right now! Always remember you’re an actor. Ask yourself and introspect, if whatever you are doing right now is not your favourite, then why are you even doing it? Don’t focus on what is going to happen in future. Just focus on your present and give your 100% to it’. Since then I added this piece of advice to my life cart and I highly swear by this career advice.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan share a close bond. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan attended the Bachchan family’s Diwali bash. Several pictures of King Khan from the party went viral on social media.

Abhishek made his debut in Bollywood with the war film, Refugee. He starred opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the same. Abhishek later went on to star in films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Guru, Dostana, Paa, Bol Bachchan, and Dasvi among others. Talking about his latest release, Breathe: Into The Shadows Season 2 is directed by Mayank Sharma. The web series also stars Nithya Menen, Amit Sadh and Saiyami Kher.
