Bollywood actor Mukul Dev passed away on Friday, May 23, in Delhi at the age of 54. He had been admitted to the ICU after his health worsened over the past few days. The exact cause of his death is still unknown, but friends and colleagues said he had been unwell for some time. A formal statement from his family is still awaited.

The news of his death shocked the film industry. Many celebrities and fans shared their grief and memories on social media. Actress Deepshikha Nagpal, a close friend, confirmed the news with a touching Instagram Story featuring an old photo and the message, “RIP.” She also the media calling him “a fantastic human being” and “an amazing actor.”

Actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Sushmita Sen and Bindu Dara Singh also posted tributes online, remembering Mukul for his talent and kind nature.

His brother, actor Rahul Dev, shared a heartfelt photo of Mukul and asked for strength to cope with the loss. Mukul Dev was known for his work in both films and television. His sudden passing is a great loss to Indian cinema.

Rahul Dev’s brother, Mukul Dev, last appeared in the Hindi movie Anth The End. With standout performances in both indie and popular films, he made a significant contribution to cinema throughout a 20-year period. His acting career started in 1996 with the television series Mumkin.

That same year, he costarred with Sushmita Sen in the thriller “Dastak.” Over the course of his two-decade career, he starred in a large number of Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam films.
