Anil Kapoor Jokes No One In His Family Is His Fan; Shares, “Mere Profession Se Usko Koi Lena Dena Nahi”

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, in the trailer launch event for his upcoming film Subedaar, shared a humorous insight into his family life, revealing that, despite his iconic status in Indian cinema, he doesn’t receive fan-like treatment at home. In a classic Anil Kapoor manner, the actor humorously said that no one in his family is a fan of his, and that his wife has nothing to do with his profession.

Talking about the contrast between his public image and home life, Kapoor joked, “Mera ghar mein koi mera fan nahi hai. Ab mein ghar se nikal raha tha, meri aadat hai mein apni biwi ke paas room mein jata hoon first floor pe, to mein gaya, and she was like, ‘Where are you going?’ Usko malum hi nahi kya ho raha hai meri life mein, mere profession se usko koi lena dena nahi. I said mera aaj trailer launch hai, she asked, ‘Where? Which film?’” The remark reflects the everyday normalcy he shares with his family, undisturbed by the fame he enjoys in the film industry.
