CONFIRMED! Arjun Kapoor to play the villain in Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again

From Ishaqzaade to Ek Villain Returns, Arjun Kapoor has delivered engaging films and has not failed to leave his fans and followers impressed. Earlier, rumors of Arjun playing the role of an antagonist in Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again were making rounds on the internet. The makers of Singham Again are yet to make an announcement regarding the villain of the upcoming film. However, Boney Kapoor has spilled the beans about the villain of Singham Again.

Boney Kapoor confirms Arjun Kapoor’s role in Singham Again

In an interview with New Indian, Boney Kapoor confirmed the role of Arjun Kapoor in Singham Again. Arjun will be seen essaying the role of an antagonist in Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. During the interview, he said that he does not feel Arjun Kapoor has reached his peak. He revealed that he (Arjun) has signed to play the role of a solo antagonist in the Ajay Devgn starrer.

Boney said, “There are multiple things lined up (for Arjun) and he is happy about those subjects. He is on the threshold of a new kind of characterization. A film of Rohit Shetty was launched where he’s the solo villain opposite Ajay Devgn. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are also in the film. It is Singham Again (Singham 3). Arjun is playing an antagonist for the first time. Let’s see where the film takes him.”

About Singham Again

On September 16, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh’s Singham Again went on floors and has amped up the excitement for the upcoming film. Rohit took to his Instagram handle and had shared the announcement. He wrote, “Singham, Singham returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi…12 Years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again… the 5th film in our cop franchisee. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!”

Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be joining the trio of Ranveer, Ajay, and Rohit. The actress will shoot for her part this month. Apart from her, Akshay Kumar is also a part of the film and will begin shooting for it this month too. Last year, Rohit Shetty announced that Deepika Padukone will also be a part of Singham Again. There are reports of Tiger Shroff also being a part of Singham Again. Singham Again is slated to release next year on August 14.

As Ajay Devgn and the Singham team have left all impressed to the fullest, the upcoming film will surely be a delight!
