Badshah Says He's Ready For The Next Phase Amid Wedding Rumours, Song Controversy

Badshah shared an emotional message on his social media, expressing gratitude to his fans for their support during this difficult period. This comes amid ongoing rumours about his ‘secret’ wedding and the controversy surrounding his song Tateeree. Recently, the rapper has been in the headlines for multiple reasons. Initially, he made headlines when his song Tateeree was taken down after viewers raised objections to its ‘vulgar’ lyrics. During this time, several photos and videos went viral online showing him allegedly marrying Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi in an intimate ceremony. Badshah posted a heartfelt note on his social media after a concert in London.

Badshah Says He’s Ready For The Next Phase Amid Wedding Rumours, Song Controversy

On Instagram Stories, he expressed his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support. He wrote, “I’ll be honest with you, these past few weeks tested me in ways I wasn’t fully prepared for. There’s a version of this life that looks perfect from the outside, and then there’s the reality of what you actually carry when the cameras are off. I’ve been sitting with a lot.”

He also reflected on the power of performing live. He said, “Being on stage with my fans reminded me of who I am and what this journey has been about. London reminded me of something I needed to remember. When I stepped onto that O2 stage, the energy hit me before the sound did. The faces, the voices, the warmth of that arena — you traveled from different cities, countries, and lives to be there. That night, I remembered who I am and what this is all for.”

Concluding, Badshah added, “I think I’m ready for the next phase. New music is coming, and I’m putting everything into it. Thank you for supporting me, even when I couldn’t say why I needed it.”

Tateeree Song Controversy

Since its release earlier this month, Tateeree has faced significant criticism. Netizens pointed out a video showing young girls in school uniforms seemingly discarding their bags and rushing away from studies. Some of the lyrics, considered sexually charged, also drew backlash.

In response, Badshah took to Instagram to emphasize his Haryanvi roots and deny any intention to offend. He stated, “I am from Haryana. Those who know me know that my language, food, lifestyle, and identity are from Haryana. I am a very proud Haryanvi. I never intended to speak inappropriately about any child or woman of Haryana.”

Viral Photos Of Badshah’s Rumoured Wedding

Earlier this week, several photos and videos circulated online showing Badshah and Isha performing wedding rituals with their families. The images, posted by Isha’s mother, show Badshah in a brown kurta with a golden saafa, and Isha in a traditional red salwar kameez. Some pictures reveal them wearing wedding garlands, smiling, and posing for the camera. Her caption read, “God bless you.”

Neither Badshah nor Isha has officially commented on or confirmed the marriage, nor have they responded to the photos or videos.

Previously, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih in 2012, but they separated in 2020. The couple shares a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, whom they co-parent.
