Bhushan Kumar Ranveer Singh Aditya Dhar Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge, the sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar, continues to dominate conversations. Led by Ranveer Singh, the film is receiving widespread praise for his powerful portrayal of Hamza Ali Mazari and later Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Aditya Dhar’s high-octane action, larger-than-life visuals, and what many are calling ‘peak detailing’ have also earned strong acclaim. After winning appreciation from several industry voices, including Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, producer Bhushan Kumar has now joined the chorus of praise, and he didn’t hold back.

Bhushan Kumar Advocates Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh Winning National Award For Dhurandhar 2

Praising Ranveer Singh, Bhushan said, “Ranveer Singh toh bahot hi khatarnaak performer hai hamesha se… a lot of films he has done.. great job..flawless actor.” He further added, “He is a fabulous actor, great emotions… He is a very passionate, dedicated actor also.” When directly asked if Ranveer deserves a National Award for his performance, his response was emphatic, “100%.”

He also highlighted the director-actor synergy that elevated the performance. “A performer needs someone who can extract that emotion, someone who can bring it out and say, ‘Yes, this is brilliant. That combination of Ranveer and Aditya Dhar is superb,” he said.

Bhushan then revealed that Ranveer had long been waiting for a role like this. “He always had that fire within him and wanted someone to bring it out. I’m very happy for him the way he has performed in both parts is fabulous,” he shared.

This endorsement adds to the growing sentiment across the industry and audiences. Ranveer’s performance is being hailed as one of the finest in recent Indian cinema, blending intensity, vulnerability, and complete transformation. Veterans like Rajinikanth, S. S. Rajamouli, and Anupam Kher have also praised his work, calling it extraordinary and deeply impactful.

Bhushan Kumar Says Dhurandhar’s Success Is A Benefit For The Industry

Meanwhile, Bhushan stressed how the film’s success benefits the industry. “It’s very good for the industry. A film like this becoming such a big hit creates the urge among people to go to theatres,” he noted. At the same time, he acknowledged the pressure such success brings. “Now people will expect that level of quality. Obviously, every film cannot be Dhurandhar, but it pushes everyone to think bigger,” he said.

He also addressed the trend of copying successful formulas. “You cannot copy a successful film. After Animal, people tried to copy its elements, but that doesn’t work. Every film has its own world – Animal is different, Dhurandhar is different,” he explained.

With Dhurandhar The Revenge continuing its strong run, the film has not only raised expectations but also pushed the industry to aim higher, while proving that originality remains key.
