Pakistani cop Chaudhary Aslam’s wife, Naureen Aslam, has praised Sanjay Dutt’s performance in Dhurandhar, while also expressing some criticism regarding the depth of his role. Dutt’s portrayal of Chaudhry Aslam in Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller has clearly resonated with audiences, and Naureen herself shared that in one particular scene, she felt as though she was watching her husband onscreen.
Chaudhary Aslam’s Wife Praises Sanjay Dutt’s Performance In Dhurandhar
In a podcast with AajTak Radio, Naureen mentioned that Sanjay Dutt was a perfect fit for her husband’s role. She praised his performance. She said, “When he stands near the car and raises his eyes, for a moment, it felt like Aslam himself.” Naureen also recalled that her husband used to say a film about his life might be made after his death.
However, Naureen also expressed that she felt the film didn’t fully capture the depth and complexities of her husband’s character. She added, “If they were making a film, they could have at least involved me, the police, or journalists to understand both his positive and negative sides. He accomplished tasks that the rest of the police never could.”
Naureen mentioned she has only seen parts of the film through clips. She also joked about the character’s use of foul language, noting that while it might not be suitable for a family audience, it is quite common in police circles and fits the role well.
