Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding festivities have begun with a bridal shower for the desi girl in New York. It was hosted by the ‘Quantico’ star’s bridesmaids Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula Acharia and was attended by Kelley Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o, Priyanka’s future brother-in-law Kevin Jonas, his wife Danielle Jonas and her soon-to-be mother-in-law Denise Miller-Jonas. Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra also marked her presence at the celebrations.

The event was held at Tiffany’s Blue Box cafe and the ‘Quantico’ star looked gorgeous in a beautiful white strapless Marchesa gown with featured detailing on her skirt. She accessorized her look with beige heels and a diamond necklace.

Sharing some inside pictures of the bash Priyanka wrote, “Love, laughter and a room full of amazing ladies…and some special gentlemen (what a special surprise)! Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had formally announced their relationship after a roka ceremony in India in August. Though they have not formally announced the wedding date, it is being reported that the couple will tie the knot in Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort and The Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 2.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
