Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are super busy promoting their upcoming sports romance, Mr And Mrs Mahi. After releasing the film’s first song, Dekhha Tenu, the makers have now shared a BTS video capturing Janhvi’s intense training for the film. The clip, along with giving fans a glimpse of Kapoor’s hard work, also captures her injuring herself on multiple occasions.
Janhvi Kapoor injures her shoulders
During a recent press meet, Janhvi Kapoor told the media that she suffered injuries on her shoulder during the prep of Mr And Mrs Mahi. Now, the makers have released a video that captures the actress’ journey of transforming into a cricketer. It also shows fans the actress’ dedication to her work and the injuries she sustained while getting into the skin of the character.
The video begins with Janhvi Kapoor hustling to perfect her stance as a cricketer. The video has glimpses of the actress running, working out, and even batting, bowling and fielding in the training area. It also features a clip of Janhvi Kapoor injuring her shoulder and crying in pain. In the video, we also heard the director say that the actress came on board thinking it would be an easy job for her since she had done the same amount of hard work for Gunjan Saxena. The actress too states that she said yes to the project thinking it would be a ‘fun challenge.’

About Mr And Mrs Mahi
The upcoming romantic sports drama stars Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles of Mahima and Mahendra, respectively. It sees Kapoor play a doctor while Rao works in his family business. The film captures the couple’s journey as Mahendra helps train Mahima to become a cricketer and play for the country. Directed by Sharan Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ is scheduled to release on May 31.
