Manav Gohil Recalls Ranveer Singh Applauding For Him On Sets Of Dhurandhar 2

Manav Gohil, who plays Sushant Bansal—the man behind Ranveer Singh’s intense training and preparation for the challenges awaiting him in a neighbouring country—opened up about his experience of working with the power-packed star, especially during the training sequences, saying, “Bahut badhiya raha. Training ka joh phase tha, uske liye bhi mujhe later on in the film Aditya (Dhar) ne decide kiya ki ye part aap hi kar lo. To phir I agreed to it. And then Kasauli mein humne woh shoot kiya. Aur woh bhi bada achha raha. Lambi-lambi lines thi usme, lekin mujhe maza aaya usmein. Kyunki, usmein training aur teaching ka ek concept tha. Usmein sirf information nahi thi aisi. But Ranveer was very gracious.”

Recalling how Ranveer Singh applauded for him on sets, he added, “TV mein itne saal kaam kiya toh lines yaad rakhna aur usko achhe se deliver karna mere liye bahut kathin nahi hota hai. Toh, I remember one shot jismein kuch tha bada lamba sa chunk joh maine deliver kiya one take mein. Toh, it was very gracious of him to stand up and give me a round of applause. Everybody else also followed him.”

Manav continued, “But he is also a very chill guy. Matlab woh banda jitna dedicated apne art ko leke hai, utna hi woh logon se pyaar karta hai. Aur khule dil se pyaar karta hai. Woh bilkul hold nahi karta hai. Jab woh photo bhi khinchwayega, toh woh saamne se hi khinchwayega. He would take my phone and say, ‘Sir ek video banaate hain aapki daughter ke liye.’ He is so forthcoming. He is such a people person. He loves people, and he is fantastic. He is a gem.”

Manav Gohil Labels Hamza Ali Mazari ‘Green Flag’

Later in the interview, Manav was asked to label people as a green or a red flag in a fun segment. When quizzed about Hamza Ali Mazaari (played by Ranveer Singh), Manav said, “Green Flag.”

Additionally, speaking about the intense scene between Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun—where the lead reveals his name to his wife in the film—Manav said, “Woh scene apne aap mein itna sundar hai. Maine Ranveer ko bhi usi scene ke baare mein bataya ki woh joh ek kshan tha jab Yalina uska original naam leti hai, woh joh hazaar teer uske andar chubh gaye the na, woh humein bhi mehsoos hue. Jis tarah se usne woh nibhaya hai—beautiful scene, beautiful, so honest, so pure.”
