Sunny Deol To Film Ramayana 2 Scenes By April End?

In the first week of March, the veteran actor began shooting his untitled next project at Film City. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are producing the action thriller. Mid-Day sources reveal that director Balaji Ganesh has nearly completed the first schedule, which also features Jyotika, Vijay Varma. This cop-centric action film will see Varma as the antagonist.

Designed as a high-octane action entertainer, Sunny will play a police officer. He is reportedly sporting a distinctive look — complete with a moustache and beard. A source shared, “Over the past three weeks, the team has been filming across Mumbai. They started with an action sequence involving Sunny and Vijay at Film City, where a massive carnival set was built. In the past two weeks, they shot at a bungalow in Bandra, a college near Churchgate, and at Marol Police Camp in Andheri East.”

Once the first schedule wraps up around March 30, director Nitesh Tiwari will begin work on Ramayana: Part 2. The source added, “Sunny aims to finish his scenes as Hanuman by the end of April. In May, he will return to his cop role in Goa.” By July, the film is expected to be completed.

Additionally, in February, Sunny Deol announced his upcoming Netflix courtroom drama, Ikka, which also stars Akshaye Khanna.
