Ratna Pathak Shah comments on husband Naseeruddin Shah’s first marriage: As long as I am the last, I am okay

Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah are two of the most renowned and versatile actors in the entertainment industry. Their work is always appreciated which makes the audience root for more. Just as their work is extraordinary, their love story is also the same and there’s no denying that. Initially, the two had met each other during Sambhog Se Sanyas Tak. But, the journey was not as smooth because of Naseeruddin’s existing marriage to Parveen Murad.

Now, the Dhak Dhak actress Ratna Pathak Shah shares that she was not bothered by the previous relationships and marriage of his husband.

Speaking with Humans Of Bombay, Ratna Pathak opened up about her love story with the Ishqiya actor Naseeruddin Shah. She said, “We were doing a play together. It was precisely called Sambhog Se Sanyas Tak. We pretty soon realized we wanted to be together. We were stupid, we didn’t ask too many questions.”

Further, she added that the previous relationship of her husband Naseeruddin Shah didn’t bother her. She said that she believed all of it is in the past. Further, she said, “He (Naseeruddin Shah) had many other relationships. That also seemed like history. Then I arrived, as long as I am the last, I am okay.”

On the workfront, Ratna Pathak Shah was recently seen in Tarun Dudeja’s Dhak Dhak along with Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi.
