Salman Khan croons a number for a Marathi film

It was just yesterday that we had reported a possibility of superstar Salman Khan starring in a full-fledged role in a Marathi film, which will be directed by his good friend and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. While that is still to materialise, news has it that Salman has already crooned a song for a Marathi movie.

After giving his voice to a couple of Hindi film songs, Salman Khan has now sung a song for a Marathi film. The same was revealed by Mahesh himself at the album launch of his upcoming Marathi film ‘Rubic’s Cube’. The movie for which the superstar has sung is for Mahesh’s next film, a musical titled ‘FU – Fun Unlimited’, which is set to release in June. The filmmaker also revealed that he and Salman earlier wanted the song to be released by Salman’s new label – ‘Being Human Music’. However, since the things were getting delayed from the label’s side, they went ahead with another label.

Mahesh and the star now are making plans to collaborate on a private album. And apart from that, we also wait with bated breath to see the superstar in a Marathi film soon, which will again be helmed by Mahesh.

Speaking of his Hindi films, Salman will soon start shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ opposite Katrina Kaif.
