Actor Saqib Saleem, the angry man in the ‘Race 3’ is all set for the release of his upcoming film also featuring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Freddy Daruwala.

Saqib debuted as an actor in the film ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ a box office success. Later he worked in films like ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’, ‘Bombay Talkies’ and ‘Hawaa Hawaai’. Saqib feels that working in these films brought him the fame and recognition in the industry but didn’t work well on box offices. This was one of the major reasons Saqib tried almost every style of acting, from comedy to drama and now action with ‘Race 3’.

With ‘Race 3 ‘ Saqib strongly believes that this is the film that will bring success and people will definitely say ‘what a film’. In Saqib’s entire filmography, the kind of response ‘Race 3’ has got, it has never happened before. ‘Race’ is a superhit franchise and with Salman and other senior actors’ presence in the film, Saqib has got a lot of attention and he really is enjoying this fame. Saqib said he was never influenced by the International or Hollywood movies, everything that he has learnt about acting is from Bollywood movies. Saqib fell in love with acting from the time of ‘Bombay Talkies ‘ and ‘Hawaa Hawaai’.

Saqib used to experiment with the characters but with ‘Race 3’ he believes that his days of experimenting will come to and end. The experience has taught him how to select the perfect roles. Saqib tries to give a real touch to every character he plays. For ‘Race 3’ Saqib has gone under several mental and physical training and tried to add the human side to the angry man and grey character. It was difficult for him to detach himself from Suraj, his character in the film because of the intense mental and physical training that went behind the building the character.

Since Saqib has experimented with a lot of genres now, the actor concluded saying, “Achhi picture mein bura kaam karlo chalega but buri picture mein achha kaam mat karna.”
