Tiger Shroff to reunite with Sajid Nadiadwala for Baaghi 4- Deets inside

Tiger Shroff is set to return to Sajid Nadiadwala's Baaghi franchise with Baaghi 4, with the official announcement expected in a fortnight.

A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla that Sajid and Tiger are all set to reunite for Baaghi 4. They revealed, “Over the last 1 year, Sajid Nadiadwala and his team of writers have developed a plot to take their Baaghi Franchise forward. The subject will retain the essence of the franchise but has got a new spin keeping the post-pandemic sensibilities in mind. The idea is to create one of the biggest action films with Tiger Shroff in lead.”

The source added that an official announcement is expected to be made by the makers in a fortnight. As for the casting, Sajid is planning a casting coup for Baaghi 4. He is already doing that with Housefull 5. The filmmaker is in talks with an A-lister to paly the antagonist in Baaghi 4.

Post Chandu Champion with Kartik Aaryan, the plan for Sajid is to return to action. The source shared, “Sajid Nadiadwala has already announced a high-content film like Chandu Champion side by side an out-and-out comedy, Housefull 5. He is now all ready to diversify his slate further with an action-packed entertainer, Baaghi 4.” The filmmaker had recently confirmed in an interview that he is planning a very big franchise action franchise.

Tiger has previously starred in Baaghi with Shraddha Kapoor, Baaghi 2 with Disha Patani and reunited with Shraddha for Baaghi 3. Baaghi 2 is the biggest success of the franchise and the biggest for Tiger as a solo lead too.

Baaghi 3 was the last film to release theatrically before the Covid lockdown. Within a week of its release the lockdown hit and the film’s business suffered badly. Tiger and Sajid’s last collaboration was on Heropanti 2 and the film failed at the box office. Both Baaghi 3 and Heropanti 2 were directed by Ahmed Khan. However, the name of Baaghi 4’s director is kept under wraps for now.

Tiger Shroff upcoming movies

Tiger will next be seen in Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath: Part 1 opposite Kriti Sanon. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan and will release theatrically on October 20, 2023. He also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the pipeline with Akshay Kumar. Last year, he had announced Screw Dheela with Shashank Khaitan, but there has been no development on it since.
