Varanasi: Amid Dhurandhar The Revenge’s Success, SS Rajamouli Decides To Divide Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu Starrer Into 2 Parts- Report

Like his previous hit Baahubali, SS Rajamouli is reportedly contemplating releasing Varanasi in two parts. The epic stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with a planned release date of April 7, 2027. As per a report, the filmmaker may plan on dividing the epic fantasy in two parts.

SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi To Be Divided Into 2 Parts?

According to Bollywood Hungama, “A 3-hour-plus runtime wouldn’t be enough for Varanasi. They are considering splitting it into two parts. This approach has worked wonderfully for Dhurandhar, and Rajamouli and his team believe that this extended format will give them the freedom to tell a more comprehensive story without constantly worrying about the clock.”

The official confirmation from the makers is still awaited. However, SS Rajamouli’s ambitious film Varanasi has now officially announced its release date as April 7, 2027. The makers shared a post on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami.

The film’s official social media handle shared a video wishing fans ‘Happy Ram Navami,’ revealing that Varanasi will hit theatres on Rama Navami 2027. The caption read, “You’ll see him in theatres by next Sri Rama Navami. #varanasi #sriramanavami #ramnavmi.”

The video features a silhouette of Hanuman carrying the Sanjeevani herb from Dronagiri Parvat, symbolizing his effort to save Lakshmana. It concludes with the message ‘Happy Ram Navami.’
