Ultimate Fighting Championship: Varun Dhawan heads UAE to cheer for his favorite fighters

We all know that ‘Kalank’ actor Varun Dhawan is a big fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and recently his dream of attending one of the matches came true. Varun has always been a supporter of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and the actor has also incorporated the sport into his fitness regime. Recently, the actor flew off to Abu Dhabi to witness his first UFC match. Naturally, he was over the moon and couldn’t resist sharing his excitement with his fans and followers.

The actor took to his Instagram handle to share his excitement from the match, he wrote, “ITS TIME. That’s @khabib_nurmagomedov walking in the cage” He was seen close to the fight cage cheering on for his favourites.

Varun’s childlike enthusiasm is really infectitious.

The Bollywood star has proved he is a huge UFC fan. Earlier this year when former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor announced his retirement from the sport, Varun took to Twitter to praise the “legend”. He wrote, “I am sad but happy in a way. This guy had his run changed the sport. He’s a legend, no two ways about it. Thank you, Conor(sic).”

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in ‘Street Dancer 3D’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor and then he has ‘Coolie No. 1’ with Sara Ali Khan in his kitty.
