According to early estimates by Sacnilk, The Bengal Files earned around Rs 1.75 crore India net on its opening day. The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 21.24% on Friday, 5th September, with attendance varying throughout the day, morning shows drew 15.08%, afternoon shows 18.58%, evening shows 22.08%, and night shows saw the highest occupancy at 29.20%.

The Bengal Files is written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. The film, presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha Productions, is part of Vivek’s Files trilogy, which includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files.
