Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge has not only taken the box office by storm but is also making and breaking several box office records in India as well as for Indian films at Worldwide BO. Just days after becoming the first Hindi film to nett over Rs 1000 crore domestically, Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar 2 has now opened a new club for Indian films at the WW BO – the Rs 1,700 crore club.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office

As reported by trade website Sacnilk, Dhurandhar The Revege has witnessed a minimal growth on it 4th Sunday with a nett collection of Rs 14.75 crore across 10,727 shows. This income – when paired with its prior nett collections, takes the film’s total India nett collections to an impressive Rs 1,083.67 crore.

Talking about its performance at the worldwide box office, as per the same website, Dhurandhar 2 collected Rs 4.00 crore on Day 25. This income takes the film’s total overseas gross to Rs 415.50 crore. When paired with the film’s total India gross collections of Rs 1,297.48 crore, the film’s current worldwide gross collection amounts to Rs 1,712.98 crore.

Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is written and directed by Dhar. Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar have co-produced the film. It sees Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera reprise their roles from the first film.

The sequel gives the audience a glimpse into Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s past and why he became Hamza Ali Mazari. The spy action thriller details Hamza’s rise in the Karachi underworld and the lengths he goes to in order to take down terrorist organisation in Pakistan. Giving the film a 4.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar 2 Will Not Disappoint. From Aditya Dhar’s writing and direction to Ranveer Singh’s power-packed but emotional and raw performance to its music, side character arcs, set design, action, VFX and more, all the boxes have been ticked.”
