Mona Singh on being typecast

During a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Mona revealed she rejected multiple projects because she didn’t want to get stuck doing saas-bahu sagas as the industry stereotypes them quickly. To avoid being typecasted, Mona feels relieved to have rejected those typical saas-bahu dramas. Singh exclusively told us, “In industry, it is very important to keep reinventing yourself to stay relevant otherwise you will end up doing the same thing which I never wanted to do in my life. Because of the shows that I didn’t want to do, I’m here today. Otherwise, I would have been stuck there, doing typical saas-bahu dramas, wearing heavy jewellery. I’m glad that I said no to so many things that I didn’t want to do.
