When asked about influencers like Khushi Mukherjee, Rakhi Sawant are often trolled for wearing short clothes, Poonam Pandey replied, “I have never worn short clothes on the streets and I would never do that.” Speaking about the trolls, the actress said, “I mean, I really want to put my thought process into this, but again, if I say so, then people will be like, ‘Are, yeh kiu bol rahi hai?’But mere hisaab se on the street, whatever I do, I do on the internet. Tumhara button kisiko click karne ka mann karega toh click kare, aur kuch dekhoge. Raste pe kaafi log chalte hai. There are kids, older people, so you can’t go in front of anybody’s face and do whatever you want to. It doesn’t work like this. It is India. Let’s respect that.”

She added, “Dekhiye maine bhi kuch cheezen ki hain, toh maine bahut khoya hai. Aur agar logo ko aisa lagta ahi ki mere ek statement bolne se, mere kapde pehene se, you know I will become a celebrity, please don’t do such things. I would urge and say don’t use that way.”

When asked about stars like Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra, do anything in the name of publicity stunt, Poonam Pandey replied, “I am a very big fan of Rakhi Sawant. I would love to be compared to her. Other names, I am sorry, I have no clue about, nor would I like to talk about. If people want to talk, bolne wala toh bolega hi naa. Main kya hi kar sakti hoon uske liye.”

Short Dress Controversy
