Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar issue statement on father Krishna’s death: We will miss him more with each passing day

Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar and family on Tuesday issued the first statement on the death of their father, Telugu star Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna. Mahesh Babu’s production house issued the statement on behalf of the Ghattamaneni family. Taking to Twitter, the Ghattamaneni family shared the first statement after the death of veteran actor Krishna and mourned his demise.

The statement about father Krishna’s death was also issued by Mahesh Babu and Namrata’s children, Gautham and Sitara as well as the actor’s sisters Manjula, Padmavathi, and Priyadarshini Ghattamaneni. In the statement, the family informed fans and spoke of him.

The statement reads: “It is with the deepest grief that we inform you of the passing of our dearest Krishna garu. He was a superstar in so many ways beyond the movie screen… guided by love, humility and compassion. He will live on through his work, through us, and the many lives he influenced. He loved us more than anything and we will miss him more with each passing day… but as they say, goodbyes aren’t forever. Until we meet again… – THE GHATTAMANENI FAMILY.”

Taking to Twitter, the statement was shared with a folded hands emoji.

Reacting to the same, one user in the comments wrote, “Om Shanthi superstar, Legend, Padmabhushan Krishna Sir. Telugu People Missing Great Personality.” Another person said, “Stay strong Mahesh anna…” “Take care, our hero,” said one social media user in the comments.

Celebrities Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Suriya, Nani, Keerthy Suresh and Pooja Hegde among others mourned the demise of Krishna garu.

Veteran actor Krishna passed away on November 15, Tuesday at 2 AM. Earlier this year in September, the veteran actor lost his first wife, Indira Devi. He lost his elder son Ramesh Babu in January 2022 and second wife, Vijaya Nirmala in 2019.
