The actor said, “Are we staying in 21st century or in some olden days? If you say cut this, cut that and then give 89 cuts in a film, so then what’s left in it? You (CBFC) want Punjab to be dropped out? You (CBFC) have ‘A’ certificate so give it. Adults will go and watch the film. Why are you (CBFC) so much on bombarding them (filmmakers).”

When he was asked further if ‘Ekk Albela’ has been certified, he said, “Not yet.” When probed him if according to him his film has anything that can create a problem with CBFC, Mangesh said, “No, nothing.”

‘Ekk Albela’ which also stars Vidya Balan (special appearance) releases on June 24.
