Aditya Chopra's Befikre

Filmmaker Aditya Chopra is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that his upcoming flick ‘Befikre’ starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor turns out to be a superhit. The maverick director used a classic Hollywood technique while filming the entire movie. So, basically he has shot the entire movie in sequence, so each and every scene is shot according to the script’s progression. Another interesting thing was that he had his editor Namrata Rao on sets all the time as he wanted her to see each and every scene and build a strong connection with the characters and storyline.

A source from the set confirmed the same to a leading web portal, “Namrata Rao, our editor was so engaged with Dharam and Shyra’s journey that she actually got quite emotional at one point- wondering if they will indeed get together.” He also elaborated on the classic technique borrowed from Hollywood. Said the source, “From Stanley Kubrick who used this technique in ‘The Shining’, to Steven Spielberg who used this technique for ‘ET’, shooting to sequence brings in pure emotion and experience for a film’s actors and its crew. It also means that the director has complete clarity and is very organised.”

The cinematographer of the movie, Kaname Oyanama added, “I was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of clarity Aditya Chopra had on set. It made working on this film a lot easier.”

With so much of effort, we hope the movie turns out to be equally amazing! ‘Befikre’ is all set to release on December 9, 2016.
