Coolie Release Date Out! Rajinikanth-Led Action Thriller To Clash With Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR’s War 2

Rajinikanth’s Coolie is undoubtedly one of the most awaited projects of Tamil cinema. Directed by Logesh Kanagaraj, the movie’s looks have left audience impressed. Now, the official release date of Coolie is out and it has locked Independence Day release with equally anticipated film, Hrithik Roshan’s War 2.

The team of Coolie announced the news of its release on Friday evening, writing, “Sound-ah yethu! Deva Varraaru #Coolie worldwide from August 14th.” This announcement came after the producers Sun Pictures teased the announcement on Thursday. The new monochrome poster released during the announcement shows Rajinikanth whistling as his forehead bleeds in a rugged avatar. As soon as the date was announced, cinephiles were quick to point that Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2 is also releasing on the same day.

About Coolie and War 2

Coolie will feature an ensemble cast apart from Rajinikanth, including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR and Monisha Blessy. Aamir Khan is rumoured to play a cameo. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is also gearing up for the sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Jailer. Titled Jailer 2, the project was officially announced on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Talking about War 2, it is much anticipated YRF film which also stars Jr NTR in lead role marking his Bollywood debut. The film also stars Kiara Advani in lead role and is 6th film of YRF spy universe.
