Actor Rishab Shetty just dropped the first look of his upcoming movie Kantara A Legend Chapter 1 and it looks super exciting and thrilling. The teaser does not reveal much about the story apart from the first look of Rishab. Trust us, it will surely give you goosebumps. Going by the title Kantara A Legend Chapter 1 , it seems like there are going to be more chapters and this will be thrilling for sure. Moreover, this is a prequel to Kantara, showing us where it all started. This also means we are going to understand Shiva’s father’s backstory.

In the Kantara Chapter 1 teaser, the god’s voice tells Rishab the light is a vision that illuminates the past and the future. Then we are treated with a new avatar of Rishab who is covered in blood. He sports a trident and an axe in each hand. He even sports long hair like Lord Shiva and his eyes have a rage that looks quite scary. Rishab Shetty’s look will surely pique your interest to know more.

Earlier, when Kantara completed 100 days, Rishab Shetty revealed that Kantara 2 will be a prequel.

Rishab said, “We are very pleased and thankful to the audience who had shown immense love and support to Kantara and taking the journey ahead, with the blessing of almighty Daiva the film has successfully completed 100 days. I would like to take this opportunity to announce the prequel of Kantara. What you have seen is actually Part 2, Part 1 will come next year. The idea has been flashed into my mind while I was shooting for Kantara because the history of Kantara has more depth to it. And currently, if the writing part is concerned we are in the middle of digging into more details. As the research is still progressing, it would be very early to reveal details about the film.”

Directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, Kantara is going to be a prequel. It will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Bengali.
