The wait is almost over. Starting Sunday, August 24, the much-loved and much-awaited reality show Bigg Boss 19 will premiere with Salman Khan as the host. With less than a week left until the show begins airing on Colors TV and JioHotstar, scroll below to see the list of reported confirmed contestants.

Bigg Boss 19 CONFIRMED Contestants

While speculation is still at an all-time high about who will be entering the Bigg Boss 19 house, India Today revealed the a few names of the 15 celebrities set to be trapped in the controversial house. As per their report, Anupamaa’s Anuj Kapadia, aka Gaurav Khanna, is all set to enter the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. After the quitting the Rupali Ganguly-led drama, Khanna went on to participate in Celebrity MasterChef India and even win the show. Reportedly, Gaurav will be the highest-paid contestant this season.

The next name they confirmed is that of Ashnoor Kaur – an actress who starred in shows such as Jhansi Ki Rani, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Patiala Babes and Suman Indori. Reports claim that Kaur’s parents have asked the makers to guarantee that their young daughter won’t be portrayed negatively.

As per the report, content creator duo Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar are also onboard Bigg Boss 19. It will be intriguing to this real-life husband-wife duo live under one roof given the recent rumors about them splitting up.

BB19 will also feature a bunch of reality television stars such as Baseer Ali, Khank Waghnani and Siwet Tomar. Baseer participated in Roadies, Splitsvilla, and Ace of Space while Waghnani and Tomar were part of Roadies. Abhishek Bajaj, Hunar Hale and Shafaq Naaz have also reportedly signed the dotted lines. This will be the first reality show for all three.

According to the report, writer-actor Zeeshan Quadri and gaming video maker Payal Dhare, aka Payal Gaming, have also joined Bigg Boss 19. Shehbaz Badesha, Shehnaaz Gill’s brother and YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, will also be part of the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Some other names making the rounds as likely Bigg Boss 19 contestants include Bigg Boss Marathi’s Arbaaz Patel, Anupamaa fame Nidhi Shah and Bigg Boss Telugu 5 runner-up Sreerama Chandra. The names of content producer Kirak Khala (Priya Reddy), rapper pair Seedhe Maut, social activist Atul Kishan, and advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh are also circulating as potential BB19 housemates.

Where & When To Watch BB19

Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on August 24. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm followed by a telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. This season’s official first look – including the logo, was unveiled on July 25. Its teaser was unveiled on July 31 and received a positive response. On August 7, JioHotstar and Colors TV released the trailer featuring Salman Khan. It also provided details about the season’s theme – Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar. As per reports, this year the show introduces a parliament-inspired setting where housemates wield authority over key decisions, from alliances to tasks.
