Dill Mill Gayye fame Pankit Thakker officially divorces wife Prachi

Actor Pankit Thakker – who won the hearts of the audience as Dr. Atul Joshi in Dill Mill Gayye, has made the headlines today owing to a major event in his personal life. As per a recent media report, the actor – who has also starred in shows like India Calling and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant have ended his 20-year marriage with his wife, Prachi.

Pankit Thakker & Prachi officially divorce

As reported by Etimes, a source close to the former couple has confirmed the news of the couple officially being divorced. However, both Pankhit and Prachi remained unavailable for comment. Prachi – when approached for a comment, she opted not to say anything, stating that she wouldn’t talk about her personal life.

Pankit Thakker and Prachi got married on September 11, 2000. Their relationship went through several ups and downs over the years. Form disapproval from Pankit’s family to the age gap between them, their marriage has been tested in multiple ways. The couple even opted for counseling in an effort to mend and strengthen their connection.

The couple – who has been living separately since 2015, made the headlines in 2016 for the first time with regards to their separation announcement. Their divorce was officially finalised in early December.
