AR Rahman on ‘Dil Bechara’ album: It is carefully curated because the film has heart and now, memories of Sushant Singh Rajput

The title track of Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Dil Bechara’ was dropped online today and it took the internet by storm within no time. Fans of Sushant are all praise for the late actor and also celebs are lauding the music by AR Rahman and Sushant’s work.

While talking about the album of ‘Dil Bechara’, Rahman told Mid-Day, “When I write songs, I let them breathe for some time and then present them to the director. It was a great experience collaborating with Mukesh (director Mukesh Chhabra) on this film; his enthusiasm is infectious. This album is carefully curated because the film has so much heart, and now, memories of Sushant.” The entire album has also released today. The lyrics of the album are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Talking about the title track, Farah Khan choreographed it and she rehearsed the song with Sushant for a day and the entire song was done in one shot.

‘Dil Bechara’ is an adaption from John Green’s famous novel ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. The trailer released a few days back and it received highest likes. ‘Dil Bechara’ is now not just a movie but it has people emotions attached to Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie is releasing on Disney+Hostar on July 24. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra is making his debut as a director with this movie. It also stars Sanjana Sanghi opposite Sushant.
