Dunki box office: After taking international circuit by storm, advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan starrer to start on THIS date in India

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to enthrall audience this Christmas with his upcoming release Dunki. So far, 3 songa and trailer of the movie is unveiled and garnering rave response not only in India but also in international circuits. As the movie is just few days away from release, advance booking date of Dunki in India is now out.

Dunki Advance booking in India

As per a report by Pinkvilla, ticket pre-sales for Dunki will begin on Saturday, December 16. While some online booking portals may start with partial bookings from Friday, December 15 onwards. SRK enjoys a massive fandom overseas as well. The overseas reservations began last week, with pre-sales numbers giving a positive response.

As per trade reports, the film has sold tickets worth $117K for day 1 in the USA. In Canada, advance booking opened recently, and so far, tickets worth $20K have been sold for the opening day. Combining both, the pre-sales at the North American box office stand at $137K for the opening day. In Indian rupees, it equals 1.14 crores gross. Talking about SRK’s previous films, Jawan and Pathaan have emerged among top 10 overseas grossers.

The movie is directed by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani whose films boast an impressive record overseas. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, trade expert Akshaye Rathi had called Rajkumar Hirani test cricket batsman who movie has the potential to sustain for weeks in cinemas.

About Dunki

Dunki features an ensemble cast, with colorful characters portrayed by exceptionally talented actors Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. It is slated to release on 21st December 2023. The movie marks first collaboration between Rajkumar Hirani and SRK. Dunki is a heartwarming tale of four friends and their quest to reach foreign shores.

The movie will witness a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar which is releasing on 22^nd December.
