‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’: Shahid Kapoor shares a ‘Tongue n cheek’ pic with Shraddha Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmaavat’. He had garnered much praise for his portrayal of Maharawal Ratan Singh. The actor is at present all geared up for his next titled ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. The Shree Narayan Singh directorial also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.

The last time Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were seen together was in ‘Haider’ and their on-screen chemistry was much loved by the fans.

The ‘Udta Punjab’ actor who is quite active on social media, recently shared a quirky picture with actress Shraddha on his Instagram handle and captioned it as, Tongue n cheek. ?

‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is a light-hearted social drama, it brings to light the issue of astronomical electricity bills that citizens face. The movie is reportedly at present facing a roadblock as the makers want to re-shoot certain sequences of the film but the actor has reportedly refused to give more dates for the same.

It will hit the theatres on August 31, 2018.
