The controversy began after a meme page shared a fabricated statement in the context of Raghav Chadha joining the BJP, featuring a false quote attributed to Kangana that read, “Agar Rahul Gandhi BJP join karenge toh main unse shaadi karne ke liye tayar hoon.” The post quickly gained traction online, prompting a strong reaction from the actress.

Kangana reshared the post on her Instagram story and strongly condemned it, writing, “How pathetic is this fake news. No dignity for women even in politics. Shame on those who are spreading this fake news.” Her clarification came after several reports began circulating, falsely claiming she had made such a remark about the Congress leader.
